TypeScript is a powerful JavaScript superset which brings you first-class static type-checking along with latest ECMA Script features. Vue is one of the most modern libraries for managing the view layer.

Angular has fully adopted TypeScript as its language, and React has broad support for it. But, what about Vue?

This course will show how to take full advantage of TypeScript static typing on Vue apps by using class based components, typing directives and using decorators.

The kaop-ts module is not working...would love an in-depth course on advance vue-typescript design patterns

How will you use what you learned from this course?

Some lessons are little out of date due to newer version of typescript and other dependencies. For example kaop-ts version is not in the package.json and I had to downgrade from 4.3 (nov 2019) to 1.5.3 to get examples working.

What would make this course a 7 for you?

It's a really interesting course but it's too fast on some arguments and I needed to rewatch some lessons just to catch them. Mainly it's my own fault because I have almost no prior knowledge of vue nor ts. I found it really helpful and I learned a lot from it

What was your strongest take away from this course?

Only class components are explained. Usage of aop and inversify require to include multiple external functions and decorators to make the setup work. Maybe this is not the best way to go about this.
