[00:00] In this lesson, we are going to learn how to install Ionic. We are going to start at the command line and type "npm install -g ionic cordova." We are using the -g flag to install this globally, across the system. This is going to install the Ionic package, as well as the Apache Cordova package.

[00:24] Now that this is installed, we can run Ionic from the command line and see the various commands that we can issue to Ionic. We will dig into these commands in further videos. Thanks for watching.
