Smart Contracts are programs stored on the blockchain that run when certain conditions are fulfilled.
These Smart Contracts have many benefits to them such as speed, transparency, and security. The contract is immediately run as soon as the requirements are fulfilled. All parties involved are privy to the contract's conditions and have access to the encrypted records. Plus, since the records are encrypted, it makes them more resistant to hacking.
Noah will show you how to write, test, and deploy smart contracts on Ethereum, using the popular smart contract language, Solidity. You'll also learn how to use Foundry, a popular dev-toolbelt, to streamline our whole development process.
Throughout this course, you'll learn how to:
And more!
A really good introduction to smart contracts. It gives a good notion about the whole workflow.
Quite simple to follow but for an absolute beginner, this won't really help.
I did not know what Ethereum is nor the concept of a smart contract.
After this course, I still do not know kinda
Concise and to the point, of course there is a lot more to learn but if you want a quick hands on introduction it does a very good job.
Nice course, I liked it very much. Foundry was new to me. Would worth a compare agains hardhat. Nice job anyway Noah!
Short and to the point. Windows setup is a bit more complex (installing from the sources) but after upgrading to the latest rust version everything worked as expected.
Become familiar with the Workers CLI wrangler
that we will use to bootstrap our Worker project. From there you'll understand how a Worker receives and returns requests/Responses. We will also build this serverless function locally for development and deploy it to a custom domain.
This is a practical project based look at building a working e-commerce store using modern tools and APIs. Excellent for a weekend side-project for your developer project portfolio
git is a critical component in the modern web developers tool box. This course is a solid introduction and goes beyond the basics with some more advanced git commands you are sure to find useful.
