Many engineers working with redux have felt burdened by large amounts of boilerplate code and confusing indirection. These apps often rely on legacy patterns that are no longer recommended, but are still commonly found in production code bases. If you are are an engineer working on such an application, this course is for you. In it I will show you how to modernize your application, with react hooks, one component at a time. At the end of it, we'll still be using redux, but the structure and content of your code will be significantly improved.
We will cover migrating class components to functional components with react hooks and how to replace connect()
with redux hooks. This course will serve as a good tutorial for learning react hooks. It will also help you apply modern patterns for using redux. These patterns, powered by the new useSelector and useDispatch hooks will transform your redux applications for the better.

Jamund Ferguson gives a excellent guide on how to refactor legacy Redux with React Hooks
This was really useful. Although playing at 1x, Jamund was very quick and I tended to rewind a lot. That's not a bad thing since there's no wasted time. The course works best when you follow along with the actual code because there is a lot of code edits and jumping around within the code. This course may be most suitable for folks that are already quite familiar with Redux prior to Toolkit since it's a great walkthrough of a old -> new Redux migration but it also helped me (who hasn't touched Redux in a while) to get accustomed to the new and more streamlined approaches using Toolkit and writing cleaner functions. I still have questions about useCallback in conjunction with useMemo but that's a little out-of-scope anyway and Jamund used it as a way to mitigate an issue as opposed to needing to explain it thoroughly. I'll definitely review this course again until I have this down as muscle memory!
Amazing content on how to simplify our redux application with react hooks.
Best intro I have seen into the conversion of React class to function components.
concise and easy to understand, I'd also add a segment about createAsyncThunk
very well explained, thank you so much
Become familiar with the Workers CLI wrangler
that we will use to bootstrap our Worker project. From there you'll understand how a Worker receives and returns requests/Responses. We will also build this serverless function locally for development and deploy it to a custom domain.
This is a practical project based look at building a working e-commerce store using modern tools and APIs. Excellent for a weekend side-project for your developer project portfolio
git is a critical component in the modern web developers tool box. This course is a solid introduction and goes beyond the basics with some more advanced git commands you are sure to find useful.
